My Background
I completed my Doctoral degree in psychology in Europe, where I worked in the mental health field for years (working in Ireland, Hungary and Slovakia), before moving to Canada. As a Certified MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) Teacher, I bring both professional expertise and personal practice to our sessions.
Mindfulness, writing, and the power of authentic communication have been transformative in my own journey—helping me gain self-awareness, create space for intentional living, and align my choices with my deepest values.
My areas of expertise include trauma, recovery and resilience building, grief and loss, stress management, burnout prevention or recovery, emotion regulation, grief, stress, burnout, and relationship issues. I am able to provide services in English, Czech or Slovak. If you are struggling with coping with anxiety, depression, life difficulties, PTSD, or another mental health challenge, please contact me for a free 15-minute consult. I look forward to working with you.

Working with Me
If you choose to work with me, we will establish mindful and values-based goals to determine the direction of therapy. I am aware and respectful of my own personal biases and privilege as a white cisgender man and will do everything I can to mitigate the impact of these biases on our working relationship, treating you with kindness and care regardless of what brought you to therapy.
As a Registered Psychologist, I provide psychological services in addition to mindfulness teaching.
The fee for an individual 50-minute counselling session is $245.
Helpful Information
Psychologist fees are tax deductible as a medical expense according to the Canada Revenue Agency. Our sessions may be covered by your extended health benefits if your insurance provider covers the services of a psychologist (please ensure they cover these services).
If you think we’d be a good match, book a free 15-minute consultation with me.
Clients interested in PTSD therapy with me need to contact the West Coast Resiliency Centre via email or phone at (778) 654-5384.
