Individual Mindful Counselling Program for Adults
This Program follows the structure of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course. It offers guided mindfulness practice and counselling support from a Registered Clinical Counselor experienced in providing services to clients with Post-traumatic stress and other mental health challenges.
Over the many years, extensive research has consistently confirmed the benefits of mindfulness, including stress reduction, enhanced pain management, improved resilience, increased emotional stability, and enhanced ability to live constructively with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and other conditions. Moreover, engaging in daily mindfulness practices can improve your general life satisfaction.
About the Program
The Mindful Counselling sessions are conducted one-on-one. The program consists of nine 60-minute, one-on-one weekly sessions with a self-led half-day retreat. Format: virtual or in-person.
Learn how to apply mindfulness in your life in step-by-step fashion. The program includes personalized counselling support from a Brown University certified mindfulness teacher. Coupled with psychological counselling and a variety of mindfulness-based techniques, this innovative approach to counselling builds your toolkit to mitigate stress, enhance mental clarity, regulate emotions, and foster relationships.
Program Cost & Registration
The fee for this program is $1,800, which includes nine sessions ($200/per session). I offer sliding scale pricing for those in need.
This program is provided under the supervision of Dr. Brennan, who is a Registered Psychologist. The sessions may be covered by your extended health benefits if your insurance provider covers the services of a psychologist (please ensure they cover supervised sessions and do not require you to be seen directly by the psychologist). I encourage you to check with your provider.
